Purple America is a national initiative of Values-in-Action Foundation to re-focus the American conversation to a civil, productive and respectful dialogue around our American shared values.

Prior to his retirement, he closely with Steven Spielberg, having produced five of his films, Most notably, Molen most won an Academy Award for producing Schindler’s List. Realizing that retirement didn't quite satisfy his creative needs, he still keeps his hand in producing films, working from his office in Bigfork, Missouri. He got his start in the movie business driving trucks, changing tires and servicing equipment. Among the movies he has produced are Rain Man, Days of Thunder and Jurassic Park.
